Dr. Caroline Peterson does not bill insurance. You will be provided with a superbill that you can use to bill your insurance for reimbursement.
In the past I have found myself doing at least 30 minutes of administrative work for every hour of patient care provided. In this practice to keep fees affordable, administrative work is automated. When you make your first appointment online you will be sent a link to an electronic intake form. You will fill in your history and contact information as well as your method of payment. You will be requested to upload your prior labs or imaging to your chart so no additional administrative work will be necessary. Communication will be through the patient portal of the electronic health records so everything will be HIPAA compliant, and your information will be confidential.
The emphasis of this practice is a series of intensive sessions. I have found the manual therapy component of most of the complex cases I see can be resolved in about eight hours of therapy. The idea is that you can receive that amount of care in one or two weeks and be able to move forward in your life more deeply situated in your body with tools to care for yourself, and perhaps need only periodic tune-ups later. Included in each session is 5-10 minutes devoted to charting.
New Patient Appointment 2 hours $370
- Typically, the first 30-60 minutes are spent in the history and evaluation, and the second 60-90 minutes are spent in treatment.
Follow-Up Appointment 2 hours $340
- Patients who are not too inflamed can generally benefit from a two-hour appointment.
Follow-Up Appointment 1 hour $170
- Patients who are too inflamed, patients who are local and need to budget their care, or patients who need time to settle into their body and can be overstimulated with too much work at once benefit from the hour session.
